Juneteenth Los Altos 2021

With over 600 in attendance we were able to raise over 7k towards our black student scholarship.

Black is Beautiful

An educational and artistic event in downtown Los Altos. Hundreds came to learn more about the Black experience in America. The dedication of multiple tables to a variety topics gave the community the ability to have personal conversations about what many see as taboo subjects. We also offered people to help paint murals in brought in artist from all over the bay to help paint images and messages of black empowerment.

Every heard of Juneteenth? Downtown Mountain View has because of Justice Vanguards event. We held a Black celebration of the liberation of Black Slaves in Texas while teaching the town about the trials and tribulations surrounding the holiday.
